Summary

Sequoyah Pollard (she/her), is an enrolled member of the Wampanoag Tribe of Gay Head (Aquinnah) and currently serves as the project manager for the Native Nations Center in the Office of Indigenous Relations dedicated to advancing Tribal sovereignty and inclusion. She has been part of the ·¬ÇÑÊÓÆµ’s Office of Indigenous Relations since 2023, where she advances Tribal programs, opportunities, and Tribal representation and engagement across campus. Sequoyah previously held roles with Santa Clara University, Truckee Meadows Parks Foundation, Redwood Materials, and as an environmental research consultant. She earned a Bachelor of Arts in Environmental Studies from the University of California, Santa Barbara and is pursuing a Master of Public Administration at the ·¬ÇÑÊÓÆµ. Outside of her professional work, Sequoyah is passionate about environmental stewardship, outdoor education, and youth development. She spent five years as a marching member of the Santa Clara Vanguard and continues to support community-based programs and environmental sustainability.
