What will I learn in a biotechnology degree program?

If you are interested in pursuing a career in the pharmaceutical industry or other biotechnology-intensive industries, the bachelor's degree in biotechnology can open doors for you. It offers:

Biotechnology is a research-intensive field that offers career opportunities along the lifecycle of a project, from early research and development through experimental design and into manufacturing and producing a product. Graduates of the bachelor's degree program in biotechnology may find jobs working in experimental design, quality control, data analysis or manufacturing. Individuals with expertise in biotechnology may also be needed on the project management and operations side of biotechnology firms.
