Summary
I was born and raised in Argentina and have been a member of the Economics Department of the ·¬ÇÑÊÓƵ since 2002.
Before my graduate studies in the U.S., while still in Argentina, I was a macroeconomic consultant for Econometrica S.A. (1993-94), an investment banker (Smith-Barney, 1994-95), and an adjunct professor (University of Buenos Aires, Argentina, 1995-96).
Before joining the ·¬ÇÑÊÓƵ, I was a consultant at the World Bank (1999-2000) and the InterAmerican Development Bank (2001-2002) in Washington, D.C.
I have published in the areas of behavioral finance, macroeconomics, and financial & monetary economics. My works have appeared in Journal of Economic Behavior and Organization, Experimental Economics, Journal of Behavioral and Experimental Finance, Journal of Behavioral Finance, Review of Behavioral Finance, Economics Letters, International Finance, Central Banking, Public Choice, PlosOne, Public Finance Review, among other outlets.
I serve as one of the principal investigators of the Behavioral Economics Laboratory in the College of Business. Along with Garret Ridinger (Management), James Sundali (Management) and James Leonhardt (Marketing), our mission is to advance interdisciplinary research across economics, business and decision sciences. Students in the lab conduct experimental and theoretical research in behavioral economics, judgment and decision making, game theory, behavioral finance, market dynamics and neuroeconomics.
